JAMB postpones 2021 UTME And DE registration Due To Issues With NIN integration

The registration for the 2021 Post UTME was scheduled to begin on the 8th of April 2021, but with a quick turn of things, the official date for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) has now been postponed as stated by Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Head of Media and Protocol,

This new development is as a result of JAMB Board determination to have a NIN integration for this year’s registration but has been hindered by the widespread delays with NIN integration.

As a result, no publication has been made for the 2021 UTME/DE registration because of inability to complete the pin distribution for candidates, hence candidates inability to gain access to the app for 2021 UTME/Direct Entry.

JAMB Postpones 2021 UTME And DE Registration Citing Difficulty In NIN Integration

According to Dr. Fabian, JAMB Head of media and protocol, Candidates for 2021 UTME/Direct Entry should exercise little patience as the whole situation is being normalised and once issues are rectified, Publications will be made and the JAMB processes shall all commence in full, Hence Candidates for this year’s UTME will be able to begin creation of their profile.
